What types of services does the Zembrodt Education Center provide?

ZEC offers a wide range of programs and activities that focus on developing social skills, life skills, transition education and pre-employment skill development, self-advocacy, and much more. Click here for a full list of our offerings.

Are services limited to a specific age group?

Each program, class, and workshop is designed for a specific age range. We support children ages 5 and up through adults. We try our best to provide the age range for each offering, but if you don’t see the age range listed on our website, please use our online form or call.

How do I register for a program or class?

If online registration is not listed with a program or class, please let us know you’re interested by using our online contact form, emailing, or calling.

Are services limited to specific types of disabilities?

No, we serve a wide range of disabilities, including but not limited to ASD, ADHD, I/DD, learning differences, anxiety, non-verbal learning disabilities, Tourette syndrome, and persons who have social cognitive deficits related to other disabilities.  

What is the cost of participation?

Each program, class, and workshop varies in cost. Some offerings may be covered by funding through our partnerships, while others may require a fee. For more information regarding funding options and scholarships, please contact jwells@thepointarc.org.

How many people receive services each year?

More than 400 children, teens, adults, and families receive services each year. We continue to grow and hope to serve many more in the future.

How is the Zembrodt Education Center supported financially?

The center is supported through donations, private pay, collaborations with schools and the KY Office of Vocational Rehabilitation, and grants.

Is the Zembrodt Education Center a part of The Point Arc?

Yes, the Zembrodt Education Center is an extension of The Point Arc. It was created to help us expand programs and reach more people and families.

What does my donation to the Zembrodt Education Center support?

Donations can be designated for specific programs, programs in general, or the costs associated with staffing and building upkeep.

How can I volunteer?

Can you rent out the Zembrodt Education Center for events and meetings?

Yes, ZEC is a great place to hold meetings, workshops, and small events. We love sharing our new space with our community. For information on rates and availability, contact jwells@thepointarc.org.
